The Ad Canvas
One slot. Above the canvas. Whoever pays the most per hour holds it.
A single 128×32 block of pixels sits directly above the main canvas, seen by everyone who opens Artwars. Unlike the game canvas, nobody can paint over one pixel of it — the whole space belongs to one advertiser at a time, and changes hands only when someone outbids the current holder.
You buy hours, not dates
Fund as many hours as you like at your chosen rate. The clock only runs while your ad is actually on the canvas — if you are outbid, your remaining hours are paused, not lost, and resume when you are top bidder again.
Outbidding takes a real step up
To displace the current ad you must beat its hourly rate by at least 10%. When the slot is empty, the rate falls back to the baseline, so an empty canvas is never expensive to claim.
A guaranteed minimum run
Once your ad goes live it cannot be displaced for 24 hours, no matter what anyone bids. You always get a real window of exposure for your money.
Take your money back anytime
While your ad is queued or paused you can withdraw every unspent hour. You are only ever charged for time actually on the canvas.
